Fruits off the dragon’s back

some few fruits from the berg

some few fruits from the berg

…some days are just more colloquial than others, and there is just no changing that…

I live in a world of colour, I live in a world of colour, I travelled through Europe and I realised that I lived in a world of colour, taken in the central Drakensberg, mid summer.

It is the start of Day 3, on day 5 of blurred perspective, bus windows and airport announcements. The air is crisp, as it has been on every day before. Our feet crunch the silica granules, disturbing their levelled, raked calm, creating our art, foot print by foot printed towards the chariot of the day. Copenhagen lay across the water, literally in this case…onward we marched, with Carl Benz.

First stop was the new opera, built for the queen by the ship builder, then on to the palace to meet the queen, she wasn’t in, then some more italian love to cut the chill from the bone.

The city is alive with colour, buildings, boats, people and very small roads.
